Jon Hamm’s latest pitch? Getting people to adopt dogs

Now that Mad Men has been over for a few months now, surely you’re jonesing for a hit of Don Draper. Check out this pic taken on the set of Jon Hamm’s latest project, “Shelter Me: Partners for Life.” Hamm hosts the fifth episode of the PBS series that “celebrates shelter pets with positive and uplifting stories.” Previous celeb pup-talkers have included Allison Janney, Jane Lynch, Katherine Heigl, and Edie Falco. Hamm’s episode will premiere in October during Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. We are loving this shot of him and shelter puppy Ruby…and we’re also kinda digging his bold sock choice.
