A striking, four-year-old Pit bull named “Lana,” is waiting for a home at the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, California. Lana is a great dog, but she has repeatedly been bypassed by potential adopters.
In an effort to help Lana find a home, the animal shelter staff treated Lana to a special day outside of the shelter – on March 28, the Facebook page for the animal shelter uploaded the video showing Lana’s day at the park and shared a few words about the homeless dog:
Lana has been at the shelter for two months, so we sprung her out for a relaxing day at the park! Everyone loves her, but she can’t seem to get adopted Please share her video far and wide to make it happen! She’s 4 years old, loves to play, but also knows how to sit back and relax! No one at the shelter can figure out how this gem hasn’t been scooped up. This week at the shelter, all animals 1 year and up are free to adopt!! Animal ID# 514313
Lana’s day out looked completely joyful – she went on a merry-go-round, played a bit of tennis, romped on the playground equipment, and even went down a slide. The light-hearted video beautifully showed off Lana’s easy-going demeanor and sweet nature.
Take a peek at the video of Lana’s day at the park and please share her adoption information to help her find a loving home.
