Photographer Captures Beautiful Moments Of Beloved Family Dog’s Final Day

Without a doubt, the worst day of owning a dog is the day that you have to say good-bye. This week, a photographer was able to capture beautiful moments of her family’s beloved dog’s final day and the result is simultaneously exquisite and heartbreaking.

Brittany Moore shared the touching images of Livingston, who was nearly 14 years of age, with followers of her photography Facebook page on Thursday…

The first image in the album, I went to heaven today, is titled, “Today was a good day.”

Livingston, who always loved playing outside, was able to spend one last special day, enjoying the outdoors with friends and family.

He was the recipient of adoring pats on the head….

And he was indulged in a feast of scrumptious hamburgers.

The senior dog smiled, explored, ate, and relaxed…and his loved ones were able to say their good-byes.

Livingston, aka “Livi,” felt no pain on his final day. His old body, with legs which had been progressively failing over the past few years, was finally at peace. He left this world surrounded by love.

“Till we meet again.”

Livingston’s family included: Courtney and Jenny Harney (parents), Joann and Margaret Harney (sisters of Brittany), and Morgan Harney (brother).

Rest in peace Livingston.
